LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

The University of Louisville inaugurated a new president on Friday, but there was a disturbance during the ceremony.

The inauguration was held at 1 p.m. at L&N Stadium for the school's 20th president, Gerry Bradley.

WLKY was there when protesters interrupted Bradley's speech.

The first protester can be heard saying, "We charge you with genocide," while displaying a Palestinian flag.

The protester went on, saying, "While you may be inaugurated today, you are not our president. We have tried to have dialogue with you."

At the same time, a second protester holding a keffiyeh, a symbol of solidarity with Palestine, began chanting: "Disclose, divest! We will not stop, we will not rest!"

Officials quickly circled the protesters and escorted them out of the ceremony, and
