LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Crews are responding to a Lexington shooting.

The Lexington Fire Department confirmed that crews were dispatched to a shooting in the area of Elm Street off of Georgetown Street just before 4:15 p.m. Friday.

Details are limited at this time. WKYT has a crew on the scene who has spotted several police cruisers and is working to confirm the details of the shooting.

We have reached out to the Lexington Police Department and are waiting to hear back.
