FRISCO, Texas — Miles Sanders will not suit up again for the Dallas Cowboys in 2025, the veteran running back being moved to season-ending injured reserve by the team, due to a knee and ankle issue, as they prepare to visit the Carolina Panthers, one of Sanders' former two teams.

The news was announced by executive vice president and director of player personnel Stephen Jones on Friday, when asked about the possibility of activations from injured reserve in the near future — the front office having gotten bad news on Sanders this week that undoubtedly tied into him being downgraded in practice.
