MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A woman was killed after a crash Thursday morning on I-240 in Memphis, police said.

The Memphis Police Department (MPD) said officers responded just after 5:30 a.m. to a crash involving a tractor-trailer on eastbound I-240 near Getwell Road and found a woman died in the wreck. The other vehicle was a Honda, police said.

Police had previously reported that two other women were hurt in the crash but later said there were no other injuries.

No other details were released.
