OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. - Olive Branch is expanding its fire services with a new station on the way, city officials said.

The city broke ground Wednesday for Fire Station No. 6, which will sit on a 2-acre site along Center Hill Road. Mayor Adams, the Board of Aldermen, representatives from Renaissance Group and W&T Construction, Fire Chief Bill Clark, city staff, and community members attended the event.

Officials said the project marks a significant step in fulfilling the city’s commitment to providing firefighters and EMS teams with a safe workplace and reflects continued investment in the health, safety and well-being of the community.

Fire Station No. 6 will make Olive Branch the eighth city in Mississippi to operate six or more stations.

The project is expected to be complete in 2026,
