DENVER (KDVR) -- A fire that burned down a shopping center with multiple businesses in Nederland on Thursday is being investigated by several agencies, including federal investigators.

A Boulder County Sheriff's Deputy reported the fire after 3 a.m. on Thursday at the Caribou Village Shopping Center. By sunrise, the two-story building was burned to the ground. The rubble was still smoldering on Friday morning.

Multiple agencies responded to fight the fire. An evacuation order was issued for residents in the area, and was lifted at 9:47 a.m.

Over a dozen businesses were destroyed, including a yoga studio, winery, brewery, doctor's office, a small police sub-station and more.
