The Toy Insider has unveiled its 20th annual Holiday Gift Guide , highlighting the best toys, games, and gifts of 2025.

A leading resource for toy recommendations, the guide featured three major lists: the Hot 20, showcasing the most in-demand toys; the STEM 10, spotlighting educational toys that promote STEM learning.

This year’s guide came as families faced a challenging holiday shopping season. Therefore, the 12 Under $20 list offers affordable options that don’t sacrifice fun.

The evaluation criteria included play value, originality, skill-building potential, product integrity, and overall fun.

In total, the guide featured nearly 400 toys from 182 different toymakers, making it the largest edition to date.
