The Philadelphia Phillies made a painful exit from the postseason on Thursday with a 2-1 loss to the Dodgers in Game 4 of the National League Divisional Series.

It was an emotional loss that came in the bottom of the 11th inning on an error by relief pitcher Orion Kerkering. Catcher J.T. Realmuto had to watch as a throw intended for him at home plate went sailing to the backstop.

And it’s possible that was his last play in a Phillies jersey as he hits free agency this offseason.

After the loss, the three-time All-Star was asked if he wanted to or expected to be back with the Phillies in 2026.

“I’m not here to talk about free agency, dude,” Realmuto said. “Don’t ask that question.”
