LEBANON, N.H. —
While there are travel disruptions at airports across the country during the shutdown, officials said essential air service at the Lebanon Municipal Airport will continue.
Cape Air operates six flights per day from the Upper Valley airport.

The airline receives a federal subsidy for those flights because it's considered essential service. Those payments could stop Nov. 2, but airport officials said the flights won't be grounded.
