STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— New Dorp earned a 2-0 PSAL girls’ shutout win on the road against Port Richmond on Wednesday, delivering a well-rounded performance from start to finish.

The Centrals’ offense was led by Bowie Jiang and Kayla Morrison, who each scored a goal in the win. New Dorp’s attack was relentless, peppering the Port Richmond goal with 20 shots throughout the course of the contest.

Port Richmond goalkeeper Rosemary Lucero-Mizhquir did her best to keep her team in the game by making eight saves, but the Centrals’ offense proved too much to handle.
