HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- The cause of the fire at Cross Lake Apartments has been ruled as undetermined.

According to officials, the substantial damage the fire caused to the building led to the ruling. The fire occurred at 2:49 a.m. on October 5 and took firefighter about an hour to get under control.

Officials say the Red Cross were notified as 18 people were displaced due to the fire.
