SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -A former Springfield youth basketball coach was sentenced for multiple child sex crime charges Friday.
Antwuan Looney received four life sentences for three counts of statutory sodomy and one count of statutory rape. Looney also received 67 years for seven other charges.
The judge heard impact statements from several people before the sentencing. One of them came from Kamesha Loudermill, a survivor and former player who first came forward when she was 13.
Now an adult, she says it was empowering to tell a part of her story.
