MILLERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- A Dauphin County-based bank is making a sizable donation to help fight breast cancer in the Keystone State.
Mid Penn Bank, Millersburg, announced a $100,000 donation to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition.
The donation was presented at the coalition's annual Pink Fountain event at the State Capitol in Harrisburg.
“More than 13,000 women in Pennsylvania are diagnosed with breast cancer every year, and behind every one of those cases is a family, a community, and a story,” Rory Ritrievi, Mid Penn President and CEO said. “The PA Breast Cancer Coalition continues to make a meaningful impact on those stories through outreach, advocacy, and research that bring hope and progress in the fight for a cure.”
