(WHTM) -- Toyota is recalling thousands of vehicles that may have improperly welded seat rails, which could prevent seats from restraining passengers in a crash.
The recall affects 54,631 of the automaker's 2025 Sienna Hybrid vehicles.

A supplier for the company improperly welded the second-row seat rails, which could increase the risk of injury during a crash, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration safety recall report said. Toyota will send letters to all vehicle owners notifying them of the recall by Nov. 21, 2025.
The recall affects all 2025 Sienna Hybrid vehicles produced between Jan. 14, 2025, and Jul. 24, 2025. Not all of the vehicles were sold in the United States.
It does not affect any other Toyota
