The Pike Road Intermediate School has hosted a fall festival last night. Hundreds of people showed up last night with family and friends to celebrate the festival. There were games, music, concessions, inflatables and much more. The event was open to the entire Pike Road community and was put on to raise money for the Pike Road Intermediate School. “We’re excited about what this event is going to do for just providing supplies like paintbrushes and paper, and so that’s just one of the uses we can use it for,” Pike Road Intermediate School principal Kathryn Bailey told Action 8 News. “We also have a library space that we’re trying to renovate. We do need new bookshelves, always new books, and so that’s another area that we are looking to improve and just make better for our students.”
