KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — As AI continues to reshape industries, professors are rethinking how they prepare students for the future.

On Wednesday, Acrisure, a Grand Rapids-based brokerage company, announced it is laying off hundreds of accounting employees, replacing those roles with artificial intelligence.

Integrating AI into the workplace is becoming more common. While some worry about what that means for workers, others say the technology can be a tool for growth if used responsibly.
