WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A drug complaint that led to an investigation since April now has 7 Springs Smoke and Vape Shop owner Michael Goodman sharing his frustrations.

“It’s just stressful as a business owner to have to go through this and knowing that you’re doing everything legally. All of our products are purchased from a USDA supply facility,” Goodman says.

Goodman and his wife, Alexis Johnson, say all their products are tested at a Drug Enforcement Administration-registered lab in Raleigh, following state and federal requirements.

“The state of North Carolina only requires a pre-harvest test. We had that. We offered that. We also offered our invoices and our COAs,” Johnson says.
