Man stabs blood drive employee at church event in unprovoked attack, Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office says

COUSHATTA, La. (KSLA) - A 27-year-old man is accused of attacking a LifeShare Blood Center employee at a church in Coushatta.

On October 9, at about 6:07 p.m., Red River Parish 911 Communications received a telephone report of a stabbing incident at the Man Church on LA 507.

Along with the church service, a blood drive was also being hosted.

At about 6:20 p.m. Red River Parish Sheriff deputies arrived on scene. During the initial investigation it was determined that an employee with LifeShare Blood Center had been stabbed multiple times in an unprovoked attack. The victim was taken to Christus Coushatta Emergency Room by Red River Parish EMS, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Ethan Kade Anderson, was attending the event and s
