Two Elizabethtown-Kitley businesses are sharing the title of the township’s 2025 Business of the Year.
Harvex Agromat Inc. and Miller’s General Repair were given the honour at the township’s Business Breakfast, held Thursday at the Cedar Valley Golf and Country Club in Forthton on County Road 29.
Sam Asbreuk, the Harvex manager, and assistant manager Grant Vale, as well as Derek Miller and Angela Flood-Miller, owners of Miller’s General Repair, accepted the award from Mayor Brant Burrow, Leeds-Grenville—Thousand Islands—Rideau Lakes MP Michael Barrett, and local MPP Steve Clark.
The Business of the Year Award honours businesses that have demonstrated excellence in their field, longevity, innovation and involvement in their community, township officials said.
