SEATTLE — Seattle Fire Department crews successfully extinguished a house fire that spread to multiple floors of a home in Fremont Friday, with all occupants safely evacuated and no injuries reported.

It happened in the 3600 block of Evanston Avenue N. Firefighters responded to the scene and found flames that had spread to both the first and second floors of the residence. Crews immediately began working to put water on the fire and search the home for any occupants.

Occupants at the scene informed firefighters that everyone had evacuated the home except for their dog, which was initially unaccounted for. This prompted concerns as crews worked to knock down the flames on both floors.
