HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Board of Water Supply is repairing a water main break in Kalihi Friday.
The 24-inch main break was first reported at around 3:30 a.m. on N. King Street between Gulick Avenue and Umi Street.
One west-bound lane of N. King Street is currently closed as crews work on repairs.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes where possible.
Approximately 45 homes are out of water, BWS said.
Water wagons are located at 1230 Richard Lane and at the Texaco on the corner of N. King Street and Richard Lane.
