U.S. Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth were on the ground in suburban Broadview on Friday, where they continued calls to tour the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) processing facility.

Their push comes as a federal judge ordered the fencing that went up at the facility to come down. The judge ruled in favor of the village, saying that it was put up illegally without approval and that it blocked emergency vehicles from accessing the street.

The senators stopped by the facility on Friday and dropped off a case of water at a supply tent set up for protesters who have been demonstrating for weeks.

They met with some of those protesters who voiced their anger and frustration over the immigration raids and the tactics used by federal agents.
