LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Staffing shortages are impacting airports around the country amid the government shutdown.

This week, the Federal Aviation Administration had to delay flights into both Nashville, Tennessee, and Burbank, California, due to a shortage of air traffic controllers.

However, a spokesperson for the Louisville airport said Friday that's not an issue they've faced here, and the airport is running at full staff.

Travelers we spoke to on Friday said they were able to get into Louisville without issue on Friday.

"Everything went off without a hitch," said Mighty Miller, who flew from Tampa. "We appreciate everybody that's out working and doing what they can."

The Transportation Security Administration continues to run without delay.
