AMES — The answer to what it feels like to get run over by a college linebacker is simple. Quarterback Rocco Becht said it feels like s.

In last week’s 38-30 loss to Cincinnati , Becht spent 85 seconds sprawled to the ground after a collision with charging Bearcat linebacker Simeon Coleman. Both players left the game: Coleman for a targeting penalty and Becht to the medical tent where he was evaluated for a concussion and ankle injury.

It was the second consecutive game Becht went to the medical tent to be evaluated for a concussion. ISU’s coaches are attempting to find ways to keep Becht out of the medical tent without taking away what makes him a special player.

Becht will take the field again Saturday as No. 22 ISU plays at Colorado (2:30 p.m., ESPN) .
