EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A 21-year-old wanted fugitive was arrested this week and is facing multiple felony charges, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said.

Abraham Alvarado, 21, was arrested on Thurday, Oct. 9.

The Sheriff's Office confirmed that Alvarado was wanted in connection with a fatal incident over Easter weekend that left a man dead after he was struck by a vehicle in the aftermath of a fight. Alvarado was wanted on charges including collision involving death, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and collision involving injury.

Deputies apprehended him at the 11600 block of Valle Hermoso Drive in El Paso County. He was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a total bond of $300,000.
