EDF is bringing back its 'Sunday Saver Challenge' this October, giving Britons complimentary electricity on Sundays throughout the month ahead. But if you're eager to take part, you'll need to move quickly, as the sign-up cut-off date is approaching fast.
The power firm's scheme benefits qualifying customers who move their daily electricity consumption away from busy periods, which fall between 4pm and 7pm on weekdays. By transferring more of their power usage to quieter times, participants can secure additional complimentary electricity on the subsequent Sunday.
