Sydney FC coach Ante Juric says he has no hesitation in comparing 17-year-old recruit Amelia Cassar to Matildas stars Kyra Cooney-Cross and Caitlin Foord.

Cassar impressed Juric during the Sky Blues' preseason preparations after joining the club from cross-town rival, Western Sydney Wanderers.

Although Cassar made four appearances for the Wanderers last season, she is yet to play a full A-League Women (ALW) match.
