BRISTOL — Tennessee High took the opening kickoff well into Morristown West territory, and things never improved for the Trojans in a 52-14 loss at the Stone Castle.

The Trojans couldn’t get it done on the offensive side of the ball as the Vikings scored two defensive touchdowns and fell to 1-6 on the year and 0-2 in Region 1-5A play.

Tennessee High outgained West 312-163 and were 3-1 in the turnover margin. Each of West’s three turnovers turned into Tennessee High points.

Following the long kickoff return to open the game, Tennessee wasted no time putting points on the board with a three-yard rushing score three minutes into play.
