Even as high pressure moves east, its effects will still be felt for the start of Saturday, before cloud coverage increases behind a low-pressure system from the great lakes. A coastal low from the Carolinas will interact with the low from the Great Lakes, marking the onset of a rainy conclusion to the weekend. Rain should begin in the evening on Saturday, after 5 p.m., and continues even heavier overnight. Showers will likely remain for Sunday, particularly the earlier part of the day.
