LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Friday marked the return of the Arkansas State Fair for its 85th year.

KARK 4 News got there when the gates first opened, and there were plenty of smiling faces and excitement from fairgoers who had all been anticipating the fair.

"I like to eat all the food. I have a whole list of all the food I want to try when I come every year," said one person.

The lights, the action, and the thrill of it all keep people coming back, but whether you come year after year or are a newcomer, Jordan Sedberry with the Arkansas State Fair says there's a lot to get in on with more rides and new food and drink options.

"We've got dragon's breath, which is liquid nitrogen ice cream, so you can eat it and have a little fog come out of your mouth like a little science project," Sedberry s
