BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Halloween is just around the corner, and community members have plenty of fall-themed events to look forward to in central Alabama.

Here are some of the festivals and events to keep an eye out for in 2025: • Hoots and Howls -- Birmingham Zoo This daytime event will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Oct. 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26.
