EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville resident Ce’Aria Harris posted on Facebook that she went to the Fall Festival and ran into Evansville Police Department’s Officer Chad Toral.
As it turns out, Officer Toral changed Harris’s life when she was 14 years old.
Harris says that at the time, she was going through a tough time mentally and a bad battle with some family members.
She says Officer Toral had to come see her one rough night, and she says she should’ve been taken to juvenile detention, but he refused to take her.
Instead, he had a conversation with her that changed her outlook on life, and she’s been looking for him to thank him all this time.
