CLINTONVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) - On Thursday evening, residents got a sneak peak at the city of Clintonville's new utilities facility.
The tour opportunity was part of the city's touch-a-truck event and also included a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the utilities building.
The new 26,000-square foot utilities facility cost $6.7 million. Construction began in April 2024 and project officials say they hope to have it completed by January.
"The upgrade strengthens Clintonville’s infrastructure by modernizing its utility operations under one roof, improving efficiency, reliability, and capacity to serve future growth," a project official told Local 5 News. "The new facility allows the utility staff to relocate from an outdated building with accessibility and operational deficits."
