MOUNT HOLLY — When the spotlight shines, they are often in the shadows.

"We're kind of our own group, right in the corner over there," said Stephen Davidson, one of the cornerstones of Washington Township High School's powerful offensive line. "There are some personalities. We're all boys, and we talk outside of football and all hang out. It's really good to have a good group of guys like that together."

The pathway to the Minutemen's 7-0 start has some large footprints, left behind by their hard-charging o-line. On Friday night, they cleared a path to an impressive 38-17 victory over Rancocas Valley.

"They are very selfless," coach Mike Schatzman said. "They don't really care about the credit, which is the best thing about an offensive lineman."
