FARGO — Holding a 3-0 lead early in the second quarter, Central Cass was in need of a tone-setting play.

That's when Squirrels quarterback Brody Kegley found a wide-open Easton Holland over the middle for a 66-yard touchdown connection with 9:09 before halftime.

Central Cass never looked back, riding the momentum from that play to a 24-7 road win over Fargo South in the first-ever meeting between the two programs at Brant-Quamme Field.

Holland finished with 104 yards on five receptions and added a late interception defensively — one of three INTs on the night for the Squirrels.

Colton Cruchet collected the other two picks for Central Cass and added a rushing touchdown as the Squirrels improved to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in Division 2A Eastern Dakota Conference contests.
