PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - Prestonsburg improved to 7-0 on the season after knocking off Floyd Central, 57-22.

The Blackcats have won their last four contests by at least 30 points.

Prestonsburg’s Kain Patton got the scoring started with a 39-yard house call.

The senior backed that up with another touchdown, this one from approximately 50 yards out.

The Jaguars got on the board with a second quarter touchdown.

Ketrin Mays hooked up with Brody Newman for an 11-yard score.

AJ Johnson provided a quick answer for the Blackcats, via a 31-yard touchdown scamper.

Prestonsburg will host Leslie County on Oct. 17.

Floyd Central will return home to take on Martin County on Oct. 17. That will be the first of three straight home matchups to end the Jaguars’ regular season.
