BERWICK — In the midst of grounding and pounding their way to an 8-0 record, Berwick took the time to write a few new entries into the school record book in front of the hometown crowd at Crispin Field.

Ty’Meere Wilkerson shattered his own school single-game record with 390 yards rushing and five touchdowns, and the Bulldogs scored their most points in a game since 1997 with a 63-19 romp over Williamsport on Friday night.

Berwick placekicker Caleb Yost set a record of his own with nine extra kicks made, not missing a beat as the Bulldogs stuck nearly exclusively to the ground game and found paydirt time after time.

The Millionaires traveled east to find out what several District 2 schools have already discovered: when Wilkerson gets going, there’s not much anybody could do.
