Middletown football on Friday kept East Pennsboro out of the end zone through the entire second half to squeak by with a 14-10 road win.
Blue Raiders quarterback Harrison Ortiz threw for two touchdowns – both to Nickayus Zennon – and finished the game with 198 yards, 11-for-17 in completions, and one interception. Zennon caught all six throws from Ortiz on the night and finished with 79 yards to couple with his two touchdowns.
The Panthers jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the second quarter, off a 46-yard Turner Barlup pass to Kolton Keys at the 7:47 mark. Barlup finished with 58 passing yards and one touchdown pass, while Keys recorded the one 46-yard touchdown reception. The duo went 1-for-3 on connections through the air.
