Pewamo-Westphalia quarterback Ty Thelen: Thelen had 102 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns while throwing for 96 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles. Thelen added five tackles on defense to help the Pirates take control of the CMAC

Key moment

Leading 14-6 late in the second quarter, Fowler was driving and got the ball deep into P-W territory. But, with 35 seconds left in the half, Fowler quarterback Trevor Spicer threw a ball over the middle that was intercepted by P-W's Kevin Hafner.

The turnover helped the Pirates get into the locker rook with a lead, then immediately took control with a touchdown drive to start the second half.
