The body of Pole Chandrasekhar, shot dead at a Texas gas station, was brought to Hyderabad on Friday. The State announced Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia for his family, and the minister assured employment for his brother.

Hyderabad: The body of Pole Chandrasekhar , who was shot dead at a gas station in Texas by a gunman at a fuel station early this month was transported to the city on Friday night.

The family members of Chandrasekhar, reached the RGI Airport in the night and received the body and shifted it to their house at Teacher colony, B N Reddy Nagar.

Chandrasekhar, had gone to the United States to pursue a Masters course from University of Texas in 2023. He had completed his course and was working part time at a gas station when on October 4, he was shot dead by the assailant.
