Snow could soon be on the horizon across large parts of the UK, with weather maps forecasting colder climates coming later in October.

Maps from WXCharts show temperatures could drop on the weekend of October 25-26.

Across Scotland and the north of England, snow could fall on the morning of Saturday, October 25.

By Saturday evening, clouds will have moved south in England ahead of Sunday, which brings with it a renewed possibility of snow for eastern England and more probability for Scotland.

Temperatures are expected to plummet during this time, with even the south of England expected to fall as low as 11C.

From October 25 to November 8, the Met Office offers a less certain forecast, but does state the nation will likely see unsettled conditions.
