The man behind the wheel of a black Jeep Patriot that crisscrossed the National Mall and sped up and down the park’s pebble pathways in June pleaded guilty on Thursday to one count of destruction of government property and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, according to U.S. District Court filings.
