Temperatures today will reach near 80 by lunchtime and the mid 80s this afternoon. Sunshine will fill the sky with only one or two clouds later in the day. For Festivals Acadiens et Creoles, the weather couldn't be better! Go out and pass a good time! Tonight, under clear skies and with dry air, temperatures will settle in the 50s and 60s once again.

In the tropics, Tropical Storm Jerry is moving northward in the central Atlantic. Jerry will not see much change in strength through the weekend, but it will begin to weaken by next week before becoming a non-tropical low pressure. It will not impact any land areas.
