Four Middlesbrough men were among those charged after police discovered a huge cannabis farm in a warehouse in Liverpool.
Officers from Merseyside Police found the industrial-size farm on Saturday, October 4, with 650 plants growing across five separate rooms in Kitchen Street in the city centre. As reported by the Liverpool Echo, 21 men were arrested and have now been charged with being concerned in production of cannabis, a controlled class B drug.
The Middlesbrough men are Marius Bregova, 32, of Boswell Street, Kel Koni, 39, of Surrey Street, Nikoll Nika, 29, of Bush Street, and Ali Serjani or Serjanaj, 23, of Crescent Road. All 21 defendants appeared before Liverpool magistrates on Monday, October 6, and were remanded into custody to appear in court at a later date.
