STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) – The forecasted nor'easter is disrupting weekend plans for people across the tri-state area, including those expected to run in the Staten Island Half Marathon.
The event, planned for Sunday, was canceled by the New York Road Runners.
It was set to start at Bay Street and Slosson Terrace, with the finish line also on Bay Street near Barrett Triangle.
The organizer said it's not rescheduling the marathon due to limited available dates.
