Former Red Sox righty Eduard Bazardo was among the heroes in Seattle’s 3-2 walkoff win in 15 innings over the Tigers in Game 5 of the ALDS.

The 30-year-old Bazardo — who Boston initially signed out of Venezuela in 2014 — pitched 2 ⅔ scoreless innings and struck out four while allowing one hit and one walk (intentional).
Bazardo replaced Logan Gilbert with no outs and runners on first and second base with the game tied 2-2 in the 12th inning. Zach McKinstry and Dillon Dingler had singled off Gilbert to lead off the inning.
