A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the Oct. 4 shootings on the South Carolina State University campus, President Alexander Conyers announced Thursday.

Conyers also announced Thursday that SC State will soon open a Community Safety Hub in the Hugine Suites student apartment complex, which will be staffed around the clock by SC State Public Safety officers.

Located adjacent to the Hugine courtyard, the hub will facilitate outreach and communication between the Department of Public Safety and students in SC State's largest living and learning community. The hub will also serve as a new location for lost and found.
