Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced yesterday that a Bay Shore man, 33, was convicted after a jury trial of Course of Sexual Conduct in the First Degree, and related charges, for repeatedly sexually abusing his daughter over a period of approximately one year. “Today, justice has been served for a young victim who showed extraordinary courage in coming forward and telling the truth,” said District Attorney Tierney. “This conviction reiterates our ongoing message that will not tolerate the sexual abuse of children in our community, especially by those entrusted with their care and protection.
