One of the sneakers worn by Michael Jordan in the 1996 film “Space Jam” is set to return after a 10-year hiatus, but it’s likely not the first pair that comes to mind when fans think of the animated comedy. While the black-and-dark concord Air Jordan 11 Space Jam is the most synonymous shoe with Warner Bros.’ beloved movie, they weren’t the only model Jordan laced up alongside the Looney Tunes.

The White/Black/True Red Air Jordan 9 was also featured in the film, albeit less prominently. Originally released in late 1993, the Chicago Bulls-colored style arrived at retail just after Jordan’s first retirement from the NBA, which happened a month before the launch. Because of this, Jordan never wore the colorway in NBA action, although he did wear a cleated version of a black Air Jordan
