Residents of Penhold have the opportunity to cast their ballots early for the Mayoral Election during the Advanced Voting Day today, (October 11) from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Penhold & District Library inside the Penhold Multiplex (1 Waskasoo Ave).

Since Penhold does not maintain a List of Electors, all voters must declare their eligibility before voting.

Election workers will ask questions and fill in the Elector Register, which voters must sign.

Valid identification showing the voter’s name and address is required, common options include an Alberta Operator’s License or an Alberta Identification Card.

Eligibility to Vote: • Canadian citizen
